Back-end Development

The 32nd site to launch in our series of Department Web Framework sites at the University of Washington College of Arts and Sciences. We combined content from a Contribute/Dreamweaver site and multiple WordPress blogs into a single new departmental site. I managed the project and led a large committee of stakeholders through the process. This included planning the navigation and information architecture, negotiating design customizations, migrating content, site configuration, and some development.

A comprehesive visual redesign of an existing Drupal site in the College of Arts & Sciences Department Web Framework. Over nine months we designed and developed a new custom theme that showcases the department's distinctive identity while maintaining continuity with the UW brand. The new design leverages the high-quality photos available to the unit and follows a messaging strategy focused on students and theater patrons.

The 31st site to launch in our series of Department Web Framework sites at the University of Washington College of Arts and Sciences. We migrated their site from Sharepoint to our platform in less than three months. I managed the entire project, planned the navigation and information architecture with the clients, migrated all the content, configured the site, and performed all the frontend and backend development.

The 111th annual conference of the Pacific Ancient and Modern Language Association will be held at the Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego in November 2013. Like the 2010-2012 conference sites, this site hosts an online proposal submission system that utilizes popular Drupal modules, including CCK, Views, Organic Groups, Rules, and Workflow. Session organizers can log in to view proposals for their topic areas and notify the submitters of acceptance or regrets. Conference participants are also able to mark sessions they wish to attend and construct an individualized conference program.
